Preheat oven to 275°F.
Place the ham in a casserole dish and pour in the beer.
Cover and cook for about 4h30 hours.
Simmer honey and balsamic vinegar in a saucepan over low heat.
Baste the ham several times during the last half-hour of cooking, without putting the lid back on.
Serve with your favorite side dishes.
